Dear Bristol Public Schools Community,

This time of year is most fitting to evaluate our progress over the past school year, set new goals, and prioritize what is most important to our district. Our 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, A Pathway to Excellence, supports our commitment to creating a positive learning environment where all students are supported and rise to clear and challenging expectations. Through our Pathway to Excellence, all learners will engage in high-quality learning experiences to enhance and expand academic knowledge, skills, and dispositions to prepare them for life in a rapidly changing society. The plan also affirms our district’s commitment to fostering meaningful and authentic partnerships with families. These partnerships will strengthen student learning, social competencies, health, and emotional well-being. The strategic plan contains four priority areas:

                                ● Priority 3:  Family and Community Engagement
                                ● Priority 4:  Innovative and Strategic Operations

Consistent with the BPS Equity through Excellence Framework and the model of high-quality instruction and leadership, we will continue to support highly effective teaching and leadership in every classroom, school building, and Central Office Department.  
Together, we will provide our students with the tools they need to excel and ensure that our community remains a place where all individuals can thrive. As I look ahead to the 2024-25 school year, I am confident that, with your continued support, we will fulfill our mission to Teach and Learn with Passion and Purpose.
