Chromebook Content Keeper Issue

 

This page details the troubleshooting steps to try when attempting to use a device at home during the CK/Google issue currently going on

Description

At the moment, we are experiencing an issue with Content Keeper and Google.

This issue affects many users who are attempting to access their device (chromebook mostly) while outside our networks and buildings.

Typically we are seeing an initialization CK issue where the screen will present a spinning wheel and does not stop

HERE ARE THE STEPS ON HOW TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE TEMPORARILY

NOTE: Use This Video to help with this process:

To know if you have this issue you will see this:

Click on the Circle in the LEFT corner to open all apps and click on the Play Store

Once you are IN the play store, click on the CK App

Click Install

Click OPEN after it has finished installing

Once all these steps have completed you can close all windows and continue working as normal
