Our Mission is to: “Provide students with healthy, nutritious and appealing
foods in a timely manner and in a pleasant environment every day”
The Bristol School District is now full CEP for the food service program. This means that at every school in Bristol all students are now able to have 1 Breakfast and 1 Lunch at no cost to them every day school is in session. Students may also purchase milk separately for .40 cents. We offer both 1% and fat free flavored milks.
Our Food Services department purchases high quality products to serve in our school cafeterias. Our chicken tenders and patties are made from all white meat chicken and have a whole grain breading. Our beef patties and ground beef for pasta sauce are 100% beef.. We bake or steam all menu items and offer fresh fruits and fresh vegetables to accompany meals on a daily basis. All of our bread products are made from whole grains, and our milk choices are 1% fat or fat free. All of our juices are 100% juice and served in no more than 4 ounce containers at elementary, and no more than 4, 10 or 11.5 ounce containers middle and high schools.
We encourage prepayment of meals for your child’s convenience. You may pay by check written out to Bristol School Food Services and send it with your student to school, or pay online at MySchoolBucks. A nominal processing fee will be charged by the third-party vendor, and it could take 1-2 business days for the funds to be available in the student’s account. You can also receive E-mail notification of your child’s account balance if you set up the account that way. Students use their school ID number at the cash register for pre-purchased meals.
Thank you for your interest and participation in our program. We look forward to serving your students in our cafeterias.
